LG is one of the latest companies to get into the Ultrabook space. In particular, they have recently unveiled their latest Ultrabook, the X-Note Z330. It sports a 13.3-inch HD LED screen, a HDMI port for connecting up to a HDTV, 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth a USB 3.0 port and 4GB of RAM. This notebook will come in two flavours. The first one will have an intel Core i5 CPU and a 120GB solid state drive which will set you back 1.7 million South Korean Won(approximately £963). The second variant has and Intel Core i7 CPU and a 256GB SSD which will cost 2.6 million South Korean Won(approximately £1473).
I have to say, that this is one of the most expensive I have seen yet. That being said, they are using solid state drives and quad-core CPUs, which will push up the cost slightly. That being said, I think that it’s good to see that these manufacturers really want to try and take a direct shot at Apple’s Macbook air.
