Lenovo have announced a very interesting hybrid ultrabook computer which is known as the IdeaPad Yoga. It’s a hybrid in the sense that you can use it either like a laptop or like a tablet.
This hybrid computer has two hinges as you would expect with other laptops. Normally, these hinges would allow a restricted movement. With the IdeaPad, these hinges allow you to move the lid through 360 degrees. At this point, the keyboard is exposed completely and is automatically disabled. The screen then turns from a normal screen to a touch screen. This is shown in the video below.
When I first saw this, I did not know what to make of it. I was seriously thinking “this cannot be possible!”. That being said, I then thought of one tiny problem. Let’s say that I am using this ultrabook at a coffee shop or at an office desk. It would not take long for a screw, some liquid or other foreign particle to get in there and damage the laptop.
