A lot of people in the fighting game community have asked (kind of jokingly) “When’s Marvel?”. Well, the answer is soon. At playStation experience the folks at Capcom showed off a trailer for Marvel Vs Capcom infinite, which is the next installment in Capcom’s Marvel vs Capcom series. We don’t have much to go on other than said trailer which you can watch below.
Marvel Vs Capcom will be coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and the PC (via Steam) in late 2017 (so my best guess is sometime between October and December 2017).
On a side note, Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3 is also coming back. If you have a PlayStation 4 then it will be available for you to download and start playing at some point in the next 24 hours.
I watch a lot of fighting game tournaments and I really enjoy watching people playing what is a really fun game so I am super stoked to see Marvel Vs Capcom finally coming back. I just hope that the performance of this game when it comes to online multiplayer is good. In order for this to be really good I want to be able to jump into a match as quick as possible. I want to be able to go from selecting ranked match, to being connected to another player and being in a match within a few seconds. After all, the online multiplayer of Street Fighter V was less than average (to say the least) in that it took me the better part of 3 minutes to get connected to anyone for a match.
How about you? Are you excited for Marvel VS Capcom Infinite? Let me know in the comments.
