At CES 2014, Sony announced a new smartphone called the Xperia Z1 Compact, a smaller version of the Xperia Z1.
You are looking at a 4.3″ 1080p Full HD screen and a really powerful 20.7 megapixel camera. Under the hood, you have 2GB of RAM, a 2.2GHz quad-core processor, 16GB of internal storage (but you can add up to 64GB of storage with the Micro SD card slot) NFC and QI wireless charging. The Xperia Z1 Compact will come with Android Jelly Bean 4.3 out of the box.
Phones 4u will also be offering the Sony Xperia Z1 Compact, with pre-orders open now on the Phones 4u website.
The Sony Xperia Z1 Compact is available free on a £29 a month contract with Vodafone through Phones 4u. The 24-month contract will offer you 600 minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB of data.
At this time, there is no definite release date.
