It’s Sunday, so it’s time for yet another edition of Adi’s Week in Tech News. This is your weekly roundup of all the week’s technology news stories.
Apple has sent out invitations for its upcoming special media event on September 9th. Whilst we don’t know exactly what’s in store for us, we do know that Apple announced a new iPhone and the release date for OSX Mavericks at around this time last year.
Samsung has announced two new handsets. One of them being the Galaxy Note 4. This handset will be available from October . They also announced a similar phone called the Galaxy Note Edge, where part of the screen has a curved edge.
Apple’s latest iPhone models were the smartphones most likely to be stolen in England and Wales between August 2012 and January 2014, figures suggest.
A Mobile Phone Theft Ratio compiled by the Home Office indicates the iPhone 5, 5C, 5S and 4S were most targeted, followed by the Blackberry 9790.
The folks at Epic Games are now allowing you to use Unreal Engine 4 on all school computers. Better still, you can install a copy on your personal laptop or desktop PC at home for free!!
